NATO's About Face: Adaptation to Gender Mainstreaming in an Alliance Setting(with Stéfanie von Hlatky) NATO Gender Guidelines Dataset (NGGD) The NGGD provides what is the first, to our knowledge, comprehensive dataset on gendermainstreaming guidelines within an international organization. It presents data on 97 gender-related guidelines, including policy documents and military directives, which were systematically collected from all major bodies within NATO. These are guidelines that are publicly-available. We acknowledge that many documents are likely on classified servers to which we do not have access. The corresponding online resource details the responsibilities that each NATO body has with respect to gendermainstreaming and provides additional information about the corresponding dataset.

GRADS: The GRaduate Assignments DataSet(with Amy Erica Smith) GRADS is a dataset of 88,673 readings from 65 Ph.D.-level reading lists and 840 syllabi from Ph.D.-level political science courses taught in the United States. Readings can be searched based on the gender of the author, author name, title, keywords, year and subfield. The dataset is part of an NSF- and APSA-funded research on gender representation in graduate training in political science. Our co-authored publications (with Hannah June Kim and Philippe Meister) examine institutional and individual determinants of a gender readings gap in political science.

RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS Advice for Political Science Ph.D. Students This collection of advice comprises a combination of published and unpublished materials that Ph.D. students of political science will find useful. I've collected these materials over the years and have also added my own advice in some places. Advice is organized by themes (e.g. productivity, publishing, conferences, networking, etc.). There is also specific advice for diverse groups of students, including female students, students of color, LGBTQ+ students, etc. Note that copyrights of individual materials are retained by those who authored and published them. This collection is designed to be a "living" public resource so feel free to contact me with suggestions, edits and additional materials that I can add.
